It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Prazolin 10 mg tablet at a fixed time.
Taking prazosin with alcohol can lower your blood pressure. This can cause dizziness or feeling like you might pass out, especially when getting up from a sitting or lying position.
Prazolin 10 mg tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.

Prazosin(10 mg)


It is used mainly to treat high blood pressure. It may also be used to treat heart failure, painful cold fingers (Raynaud’s disease) or mild enlargement of the prostate gland (prostatic hyperplasia) in men.

How it works

Prazolin 10 mg tablet belongs to a class of medications called alpha blockers. Prazolin 10 mg tablet works by relaxing blood vessels so that blood passes more easily through them  thereby decreasing the blood pressure. It also allows the heart to pump blood more easily.
