It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Piopod 15mg tablet at a fixed time.
Taking pioglitazone with alcohol may affect blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes.

Pioglitazone(15mg)

Uses

Piopod 15mg tablet is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.

How it works

Piopod 15mg tablet restores body's ability to use insulin to lower blood sugar level. Also decreases amount of glucose absorbed from food in the intestine and decreases glucose production from liver.

Numbness, Abnormal liver function tests, Bladder cancer, Bone fracture, Insomnia, Nasal infection, Visual impairment, Weight gain
