Introduction of Pasetron Injection

Pasetron 0.25 mg Injection is a prescription medicine used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy and radiotherapy and after surgery. It works by blocking certain chemical in the brain that triggers nausea or vomiting.

Pasetron 0.25 mg Injection is administered under the supervision of healthcare professional and take it as advised by doctor only. Remember you should not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor. You should avoid heavy meals throughout the day and drink water sip by sip to achieve better results.

This medicine has very less or minimal side effects but it may cause headache. It can also cause constipation or diarrhea, so it is better to take plenty of fluids while taking this medicine. Dizziness and sleepiness may also occur, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you.

How Pasetron Injection works

Pasetron 0.25 mg Injection is an antiemetic medication. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the brain that may cause nausea and vomiting during anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy) or after surgery.

It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Pasetron 0.25 mg Injection. Please consult your doctor.
Pasetron 0.25 mg Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Pasetron 0.25 mg Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Pasetron 0.25 mg Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Pasetron 0.25 mg Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Pasetron 0.25 mg Injection is recommended.
Pasetron 0.25 mg Injection is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Pasetron 0.25 mg Injection is recommended.

What if you miss a dose of Pasetron Injection?

If you miss a dose of Pasetron 0.25 mg Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Hi PATIENT to 1mgdoctors. Congratulation on the big new!At this point its fine whatever you take, as long you can keep it down. During early pregnancy the nausea, vomiting and the smells make it difficult to follow a specific diet.So for the time being eat whatever you like, apart from outside food, specially chinese. Also it would be good to avoid pineapples and papaya.
