Introduction of Norlut-N Tablet

Norlut-N Tablet is a medicine used to treat pain and heavy bleeding associated with menstruation and endometriosis (a disorder in which tissue that lines the uterus grows outside the uterus). It is also used to delay periods.

Norlut-N Tablet should be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. This medicine is not a birth control medicine, so use a non-hormonal method of contraception such as condoms to prevent pregnancy. It may cause bleeding or spotting between menstrual periods but it is better to inform your doctor if this occurs frequently.

Lactation

Norlut-N Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Nonhormonal contraceptives are preferred in breastfeeding women, especially during the first 4 weeks postpartum
Driving
UNSAFE
Norlut-N Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney

Liver
CAUTION
Norlut-N Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Norlut-N Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Norlut-N Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease. Inform your doctor if you develop signs of jaundice like yellowing of eyes and skin, itching, and clay colored stools.

Doctors said its endometriosis and its not shown in any mri or ultrasounds. I am taking norlut-d twice since 68 days. I need to know will it be cured without surgery . Or surgery is the last option. Very tense regular pain in my stomach since 6 months. My Appendix operated by mistake due to this severe pain. Kindly tell me the correct thing i shud follow. Thanks.
