How to use Nialip Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nialip 375 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Nialip Tablet works

Nialip 375 mg Tablet stimulates the formation of enzymes for triglyceride metabolism thereby reducing the levels of triglyceride and cholesterol in the body.

Nialip Tablet related warnings

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Nialip 375 mg Tablet Taking Niacin with alcohol can cause nausea, dizziness, itching, vomiting, upset stomach, and flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling under your skin).
Nialip 375 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Nialip 375 mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Nialip 375 mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
There is limited information available on the use of Nialip 375 mg Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
However, a cautious use of Nialip 375 mg Tablet is advised in patients with kidney disease as the information available is very limited.

  • Avoid alcohol, spicy foods, hot beverages or hot baths right before you take Nialip 375 mg Tablet.
  • You may feel hot and your skin colour may change after taking Nialip 375 mg Tablet. Your doctor may tell you to take an aspirin 30 minutes before you take Nialip 375 mg Tablet to reduce this effect.
  • Notify your doctor if you have unexplained muscle pain.
