Uses of Mesacol Enema
Benefits of Mesacol Enema
Ulcerative colitis is a form of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that causes inflammation and ulcers in the colon and rectum. Mesacol Enema helps reduce the inflammation in the intestinal lining by targeting the disease locally. Reduction in inflammation promotes mucosal healing and causes symptoms like abdominal pain, diarrhea, and rectal bleeding to subside.
Crohn’s disease is a type of inflammatory bowel disease that can affect any part of the digestive tract, causing symptoms like abdominal pain, diarrhea, and fatigue. Mesacol Enema is used in mild to moderate cases to reduce inflammation and manage flare-ups.
