Mahaflox Infusion is used in the treatment of bacterial infections
. It is also used in infections of urinary tract, tonsils, sinus, nose, throat, female genital organ, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).
Side Effects of Mahaflox are Headache, Dizziness, Nausea, Diarrhoea.
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self-administer.
Mahaflox Infusion is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria.

Your doctor has prescribed Mahaflox Infusion to cure your infection and improve symptoms.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
Discontinue Mahaflox Infusion and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
- Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
Notify your doctor if you feel pain in your tendons, numbness, or tingling sensations.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.

Mahaflox Infusion may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Mahaflox Infusion is probably unsafe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Mahaflox Infusion may make you feel dizzy or light-headed, you may experience a sudden, transient loss of vision, or you may faint for a short period. This may affect your driving ability.
Mahaflox Infusion is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Mahaflox Infusion is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Mahaflox Infusion should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Mahaflox Infusion may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Limited information is available on the use of Mahaflox Infusion in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
If you miss a dose of Mahaflox Infusion, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

u shouldn't take antibiotics without prescription, for simple cold n cough take syp corex-Dx 1 tsf tid, for cold DO STEAM INHALAION TWICE DAILY, WARM SALINE GARGLES, AVOID EXPOSURE TO COLD,TAKE REST tab levocet 1 tab bd for 5 days, take healthy diet to boost ur immunity comprising of proteins, vitamins particularly vit C, take plenty of fluids if not better in 3 days consult physician hope this helps, antibiotics are reserved only for bacterial infections , most cold like illnesses are viral so no need of antibiotics
