General Information

Product introduction
Give Longifene-DS Tablet to your child after food or about one hour before travel, as advised by the doctor. The dose and how often it should be taken depend on your child’s condition, and the doctor will decide the right amount. If you miss a dose, give it as soon as you remember. Do not give two doses together.
Sleepiness is the most common side effect, so make sure your child avoids activities that need full attention. It may also cause a dry mouth, so encourage your child to drink water regularly and maintain good oral hygiene.
Before giving Longifene-DS Tablet, inform the doctor if your child has glaucoma or any stomach-related problems. Also tell the doctor if your child is on any other medicines, as some may affect how this one works. If your child is unwell or taking other treatments, always check with the doctor first. Avoid giving alcohol-containing products during treatment.
Uses of Longifene Tablet
Benefits of Longifene Tablet
Longifene-DS Tablet is used to treat many different inflammatory and allergic conditions including conjunctivitis and conditions which affect the skin such as urticaria. It works by lowering your immune system’s response to these conditions and prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. It helps relieve symptoms such as swelling, pain, itching, and other allergic-type reactions. If you are not sure why you are being given this medicine, ask your doctor.
This medicine is given orally (by mouth). You should always take it as it has been prescribed for you. Do not stop taking it without your doctor’s advice. This can cause unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Because this medicine weakens your immune system, you should avoid being near people who are ill or have infections.
Motion sickness is a condition caused due to motion during travel. You may experience spinning sensation (vertigo), nausea or vomiting as a result of this condition. Longifene-DS Tablet helps treat these symptoms effectively. Take it as prescribed by the doctor to get maximum benefit.
