Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Joynap 1mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Take Joynap 1mg Tablet once while going to bed and do not repeat in the same night.
Not for long-term use as it can be habit-forming.
Along with taking Joynap 1mg Tablet, follow simple tips to establish a sleep routine: Go to sleep and wake up at the same time each day; avoid drinking alcohol, smoking, or consuming coffee/tea four to six hours before going to bed; avoid large meal before bedtime; do not exercise right before going to bed; make sure the bedroom is quiet and dark; avoid daytime nap.
Do not abruptly stop the medicine if you have been regularly using it.
Joynap 1mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Joynap 1mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Joynap 1mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. Joynap 1mg Tablet is safe as per American Association of Pregnancy.
Joynap 1mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Joynap 1mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Joynap 1mg Tablet is recommended. However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease.
Joynap 1mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Joynap 1mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Joynap 1mg Tablet is generally started at a low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
Joynap produces a calming effect on the brain and induces sleep. This calming effect may be perceived as pleasant or feeling high by some individuals. On prolonged use, Joynap may also make an individual dependent such that they are not be able to sleep or function normally without taking it
Joynap is used to treat insomnia, which may help ease anxiety in some patients, although doctors do not prescribe Joynap for anxiety alone because it does not work in the same manner as other sedatives anti-anxiety drugs
