Uses of Hizet Syrup
Hizet Syrup is used for treatment of anxiety and symptoms of alcohol withdrawal in adults. It is also used to relieve the itching caused by allergies and to control the nausea and vomiting caused by various conditions, including motion sickness in adults and children.

How to use Hizet Syrup
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Hizet Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Hizet Syrup works
Hizet Syrup is an antihistaminic medication. In allergy, it works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (histamine). This relieves allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes. In short-term anxiety, it works by decreasing the activity in brain, thereby helping you feel relaxed/sleepy.

Alcohol
CAUTION
Hizet Syrup may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy
Unknown. Human and animal studies are not available. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
Hizet Syrup is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Larger doses or prolonged use of Hizet Syrup may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
Driving
Hizet Syrup may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Hizet Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Hizet Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION
Hizet Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Hizet Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
What if you miss a dose of Hizet Syrup?
If you miss a dose of Hizet Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
