Genlox DS 60mg Tablet

Genlox DS 60mg Tablet may also be used to control abnormal vaginal bleeding in women who have not attained menopause (end of the monthly menstrual period). Genlox DS 60mg Tablet is generally taken twice a week for the first 3 months and once a week thereafter. Take the first dose on the first day of your period and the second dose 3 days later, and continue on the same two days each week for the first 3 months. From the fourth month, take it once weekly on the same day, regardless of your menstrual cycle.

Genlox DS 60mg Tablet is generally safe and does not cause any common side effects. However, some people may experince irregular bleeding or changes in their menstrual cycle, particularly during the first few months. Periods may sometimes become lighter or occur at longer intervals. If your period is delayed by more than 15 days, consult your doctor to rule out pregnancy.

Tell your doctor about your medical conditions before taking Genlox DS 60mg Tablet, particularly if you have liver problems, kidney disease, polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD), or certain heart and blood-vessel risk factors. Also inform your doctor about any other medicines you are taking. Remember that Genlox DS 60mg Tablet does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV.

• Contraception : Helps prevent pregnancy in women by reducing the chances of conception when taken as recommended.

Genlox DS 60mg Tablet is taken twice a week for the first 3 months. Take the first dose on the first day of your period and the second dose 3 days later (on the fourth day). Continue taking it on these same two days each week for the first 3 months. From the fourth month onward, take one dose once a week on the same day, regardless of your menstrual cycle.

• Take Genlox DS 60mg Tablet exactly on the scheduled days. Keep a reminder that can help you avoid missing a dose.

• Genlox DS 60mg Tablet does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV. Use a condom if protection against STIs is needed.
• Fertility generally returns quickly after stopping Genlox DS 60mg Tablet. If you want to continue avoiding pregnancy, discuss another suitable contraceptive method before stopping it.
