How to use Gemfos Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take Gemfos 150mg Tablet empty stomach (1 hour before food or 2 hours after food).

How Gemfos Tablet works

Gemfos 150mg tablet is a bisphosphonate. It acts by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts, cells that cause the destruction of bone, thereby strengthening the bones and minimizing the risk of fractures.

Expert advice for Gemfos Tablet

  • Take Gemfos in the morning on an empty stomach with water.
  • Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after taking Gemfos.
  • Maintain an upright posture for 30 minutes after taking Gemfos.
  • Inform your doctor if you experience pain in jaw, throat, chest, abdomen, hips or thighs.
  • Inform your doctor if you are about to undergo any major dental procedures, as Gemfos may need to be discontinued temporarily.
