Taking Labetalol and alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

Uses

Evabet 100mg tablet is used in the treatment of angina (chest pain), arrhythmias (abnormal heart beat), heart attack and increased blood pressure .

How it works

Evabet 100mg tablet belongs to a class of medication called beta-blockers. It relaxes the blood vessels and reduces heart rate to improve the blood flow and decrease the blood pressure.

  • The Labetalol may affect your blood sugar and cover up the symptoms of low blood sugar if you have diabetes.
  • Labetalol may reduce blood flow to your hands and feet, causing them to feel cold. Smoking may worsen this effect. Dress warmly and avoid the use of tobacco.
