Product introduction
Use Estogel in the exact way as instructed by your doctor or mentioned on the package insert. Do not apply in larger or smaller quantities than recommended. Even if your symptoms improve, you should continue the treatment as it has been prescribed. Do not stop using the medicine until the full course is completed.
The most common side effects of this medicine include headache, flatulence, and breast pain. These usually go away if you continue using it. Tell your doctor if you have bleeding in your vagina. Your doctor may give you an alternative medicine.
Before using this medicine you should tell your doctor if you have unexplained vaginal bleeding or if you have ever had a blood clot in your legs or your lungs. Once you have started using this medicine you should have regular check-ups to discuss the benefits of your treatment. It should not interact with any other medicines but it is not usually recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Uses of Estogel Gel
Benefits of Estogel Gel
Hormone placement therapy (HRT) is a treatment to relieve symptoms of menopause such as hot flushes, vaginal dryness, and reduced sex drive. Since menopause can last for several years, this treatment can make a big improvement to your daily life and mood. Estrogen is one of two important hormones (the other is progesterone) used in this treatment. Vaginal tablets and creams are an easy way to deliver hormones but may not treat all the symptoms. You should use this medicine as it is prescribed, and for as long as it is prescribed by your doctor.
