Uses of EV Active Gel

Benefits of EV Active Gel

Hormone replacement therapy
Hormone placement therapy (HRT) is a treatment to relieve symptoms of menopause such as hot flushes, vaginal dryness, and reduced sex drive. Since menopause can last for several years, this treatment can make a big improvement to your daily life and mood. Estrogen is one of two important hormones (the other is progesterone) used in this treatment. Vaginal tablets and creams are an easy way to deliver hormones but may not treat all the symptoms. You should use this medicine as it is prescribed, and for as long as it is prescribed by your doctor.

Side effects of EV Active Gel

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How EV Active Gel works

Quick tips

  • Always wash your hands thoroughly after applying EV Active Gel to avoid unintentional transfer to others.
  • Allow the medicine to dry completely before putting on clothes to prevent it from rubbing off.
  • Use at the same time daily, as that helps maintain stable hormone levels.
  • Do not shower, bathe, or swim for at least an hour after application.
  • Inform your doctor if you experience any unusual symptoms, such as vaginal bleeding, breast changes, or signs of blood clots (like leg pain or sudden shortness of breath).
  • Long-term use may require monitoring for potential side effects, such as high blood pressure or changes in cholesterol levels.
