Side Effects of Eslo are Nausea, Dizziness, Headache, Muscle cramp, Palpitations, Sleepiness, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Abdominal pain, Ankle swelling, Edema (swelling), Fatigue.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.
Eslo 2.5 mg Tablet is a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing blood vessels which makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.

You have been prescribed Eslo 2.5 mg Tablet to improve your blood pressure and/or to reduce the number and severity of angina attacks.
Lowering blood pressure reduces the chance of future heart attack & stroke.
- Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it.
A sudden drop in your blood pressure may occur, especially when you first start taking Eslo 2.5 mg Tablet. To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
- It can cause ankle or foot swelling. Raise your legs while you’re sitting down and talk to your doctor if it does not go away.

Eslo 2.5 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation.

If you miss a dose of Eslo 2.5 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Hello Doctor, I am son of the patient Mrs. PATIENT On behalf of her I am writing this problem. My mother is diabetic for 29 years and she is on Insulin(Human Mixtard 30/70) for last 15 years. She is taking prescribed medicine by Dr. Prof. Samar Banerjee for last 8 years. As of now, she is taking the following Medicines regularly (doses as prescribed by the Doctor): 1. Human Mixtard 30/70 (14 unit before breakfast and 8 unit after breakfast) 2. Sompraz L (One Cap before breakfast) 3. Pioz 15 (one Tab after lunch) 4. Glycomet 1 GM (One tab after lunch & dinner) 5. Eritel Trio (One tab after breakfast) 6. Atorva 10 (One tab after dinner) 7. Eslo 2.5 (One tab after dinner) Her last report for Blood Test is as follow: Fasting Sugar- 120 mg/dl PP Sugar - 168 mg/dl Creatinine - 1.0 mg/dl Problem She is facing Now: For last 1 month, my mother is experiencing severe sleepiness and dizziness. She has lost interest in any type of household work, where she used to be a all time home maker. Now-a-days she is not having any energy to do any kind of work and everytime she is feeling sleepy. Along with that she is having ankle swelling as well. Also, she has lost her appetite too. Even sometime she is telling me that she does not want to live anymore. She lost her husband (my father) 8 years back in a tragic road accident. Since then she was living with me only. 2 years back I have got married so now she is living with me, my wife and our 3 months old son. Me and my wife are really worried about her health. I was doing some research on the side effects of the medicines she is taking and I found in 1mg.com that the component Amlodipine (found in Eritel Trio and Eslo 2.5) can cause severe sleepiness and dizziness.
