General Information

Product introduction
Use Entofoam Rectal foam exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The usual dose is one applicator-full inserted into the rectum once or twice daily for 2–3 weeks, followed by a reduced frequency depending on your response. Your doctor may adjust the dose and duration according to your condition. Continue treatment for as long as your doctor recommends, even if you start feeling better.
There is limited data on the common side effects of Entofoam Rectal foam. However, it may cause burning, itching, irritation, and dryness at the site of application in some people. These are usually mild. If any of them persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
Do not use Entofoam Rectal foam if you have a known history of allergic reactions to hydrocortisone acetate or any of its ingredients. It should also not be used in certain conditions affecting the rectum or bowel. To ensure safety, inform your doctor about all your medical conditions before using this medicine. Let your doctor also know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Also inform your doctor about all other medicines you use, as some may interact with this medicine.

How to use Entofoam Rectal foam
How Entofoam Rectal foam works
Quick tips
- Use Entofoam Rectal foam exactly as prescribed and try to use it at the same time each day for best results.
- Empty your bowels before the morning dose, as passing stools soon after application may reduce the efficacy.
- Clean the applicator thoroughly after every use with warm water and allow it to dry before the next application.
- Do not stop treatment suddenly after prolonged use; speak with your doctor, as the dose may need to be reduced gradually.
- Tell your doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve, particularly if there is no improvement within 2–3 weeks of treatment.
