Side Effects of Eldox are Vomiting, Nausea, Diarrhoea.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Eldox 100 mg Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.
Take this medicine one hour before food or two hours after food, with a full glass of water. You can take this medicine with food if it upsets your stomach.
Avoid Eldox 100 mg Capsule with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.
Eldox 100 mg Capsule is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

- Your doctor has prescribed Eldox 100 mg Capsule to cure your infection and improve symptoms.
- Take it with food and plenty of water to avoid stomach upset. Take it while you are sitting or standing, to prevent any throat irritation and do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking Eldox 100 mg Capsule.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection to come back and harder to treat.
Do not take antacids or medicines containing zinc or iron at least 2 hours before or 6 hours after taking Eldox 100 mg Capsule.
- It can increase your chances of getting sunburned or a skin rash. Wear sunscreen and protective clothing when outdoors.
Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.

Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Eldox 100 mg Capsule may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Visual disturbances such as blurring of vision may occur during treatment with doxycycline.
Eldox 100 mg Capsule is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Eldox 100 mg Capsule is recommended.
However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Eldox 100 mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Eldox 100 mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

u shouldn't take antibiotics without prescription, for simple cold n cough take syp corex-Dx 1 tsf tid, for cold DO STEAM INHALAION TWICE DAILY, WARM SALINE GARGLES, AVOID EXPOSURE TO COLD,TAKE REST tab levocet 1 tab bd for 5 days, take healthy diet to boost ur immunity comprising of proteins, vitamins particularly vit C, take plenty of fluids if not better in 3 days consult physician hope this helps, antibiotics are reserved only for bacterial infections , most cold like illnesses are viral so no need of antibiotics
