How to use Dynapar Suppository

Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash and dry the area. Lie down and gently insert the suppository into the area with or without the use of an applicator as mentioned in the label. You or your care giver may be taught on how to use this medicine at home.

How Dynapar Suppository works

Dynapar 100 mg Suppository is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) which is absorbed rapidly into the bloodstream from the rich blood supply of the rectal area. Once absorbed, it works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Ketoprofen blocks the Cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzyme without any preference for blocking of any one of this enzyme subtypes. Dynapar has the preference to block COX-2 subtype of Cyclooxygenase enzyme. Blocking of COX reduces prostaglandins (chemicals naturally produced by the body that is responsible for pain and inflammation).
