Product introduction

Devita Injection is the active form of vitamin D. It increases the levels of vitamin D in your blood which in turn raises calcium levels in the blood by helping in absorption of more calcium from your intestine. Thus, it is used in the treatment of calcium deficiency and postmenopausal osteoporosis.

Devita Injection is given in women after menopause to strengthen weak bones. It helps in reducing bone damage. It is administered as an injection. It is advised not to self-administer the injection, it should be done by a healthcare professional.

Do not take any other form of vitamin D along with this medicine without consulting your doctor. Drink plenty of fluids such as water to avoid feeling dehydrated. Avoid using antacids as it can cause difficulty for the medicine to absorb.

Use of this medicine may cause reactions such as redness, pain, or swelling at the site of injection. Let your doctor know if you are bothered by it. In patients with kidney disease, dose adjustment may be required. Consult with your doctor. Try to avoid consumption of alcohol while on treatment with this medicine.

Uses of Devita Injection

Benefits of Devita Injection

In Treatment of Calcium deficiency

Devita Injection increases the levels of vitamin D in your blood which in turn helps in absorption of more calcium from your intestine. Calcium is a mineral found in different places in your body and has many functions including bone growth. Your heart, muscles, and nerves also need calcium to function properly. Additionally it can boost your immunity and increase the body resistance against various infection.

In Treatment of Post menopausal osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is a common condition that weakens bones, making them fragile and more likely to break. It often occurs in women after menopause. This condition can be treated with bone-strengthening medicines. Devita Injection helps in the absorption of more calcium from your intestine and slows down the rate at which bone is broken down in your body. This maintains bone density and reduces your risk of breaking a bone.

You can help improve the strength of your bones by doing regular exercise (especially weight-bearing exercise), eating healthy foods containing calcium and vitamin D, and reducing alcohol and tobacco consumption.
