Benefits of Deferglob Tablet

In Treatment of Iron overload

Iron overload, as the name suggests, means excess of iron in the human body. Too much iron can cause organ damage, which can lead to conditions such as cancer, irregular heartbeat and cirrhosis of the liver. Hello, Diabetes in thalassaemia is thought to be caused mainly by iron overload, from repeated blood transfusions, damaging the pancreas. Insulin secretion may be reduced, possibly because iron is directly toxic to the insulin producing pancreatic ?-cells. So it is type 1 DM .
