Cetricare 10mg Tablet

Cetricare 10mg Tablet is an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, and itchy, watery eyes. It also helps reduce itching, hives, and skin reactions, including those from insect bites. It works by blocking histamine, a chemical responsible for allergic reactions.

Cetricare 10mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose depends on your condition and how you respond to treatment. You may take it only on days when symptoms occur, or regularly if advised for prevention. Do not stop taking it earlier than advised, as symptoms may return.

Common side effects include headache and sleepiness. These are usually mild and improve with time. Consult your doctor if they persist or become bothersome. Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may increase drowsiness.

Before taking it, inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, or if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or elderly (above 65 years of age). Also, let your doctor know about all other medicines you are taking, as interactions may occur. Avoid driving or operating machinery if you feel sleepy or dizzy after taking this medicine.

• Treatment of Allergic conditions

• Stop taking Cetricare 10mg Tablet at least three days before undergoing an allergy test, as it can affect the test results.
• Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine, as alcohol can increase sleepiness.
• Stopping Cetricare 10mg Tablet after long-term daily use may cause severe itching within a few days of stopping. Consult your doctor before discontinuing if you have been using this medicine daily for several months.
• If you feel sleepy, you may take your dose in the evening (around 8–9 PM) after speaking with your doctor.
• If you have kidney disease or reduced kidney function, you may require a lower dose. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
• If you have a history of seizures, use this medicine with caution and consult your doctor before taking it.
• If hives (urticaria) do not improve within 3 days, consult your doctor.
