Candid-V Gel is for external use only. You should use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It is best to use it at night for better results. The affected area should be clean before using the medicine. You must wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine. Do not stop using it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better.
Some of the common side effects include vaginal burning sensation and irritation. If the side effects bother you or do not go away, let your doctor know.

- Use Candid-V Gel exactly as prescribed and complete the full course, even if symptoms improve earlier.
- Avoid sexual intercourse while you have vaginal thrush and during the course of treatment, as this may worsen irritation and delay healing.
- This medicine may reduce the effectiveness of condoms and diaphragms made of latex. Avoid relying on these methods for contraception or protection during treatment and for up to 5 days after finishing the course.
- Do not use tampons, intravaginal douches, spermicides, or other vaginal products while using this medicine, unless advised by your doctor.
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding before using this medicine.
- If symptoms do not improve within 7 days, worsen, or keep coming back, consult your doctor for further evaluation.
