Codergocrine Mesylate is used in the treatment of alzheimer's disease (brain disorder that affects memory and intellectual ability), stroke (decreased blood supply to brain), dementia in parkinson's disease (a disorder of the nervous system that causes difficulties with movement and balance), age related memory loss and head trauma
How it works
Codergocrine belongs to a class of medications called as Ergot Alkaloid. It causes expansion of blood vessels and increase in oxygen utilization in the brain. It also controls the chemicals responsible for cognitive functions.

Blurred vision, Slow heart rate, Decreased blood pressure, Dizziness, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Headache, Nasal congestion, Rash, Vomiting

- Monitor your blood pressure and heart rate regularly as codergocrine mesylate is known to cause reduction in blood pressure and slow heartbeat (severe bradycardia).
- Do not consume this drug if you are allergic to codergocrine mesylate or any of its ingredients.
