Product introduction

Bio Enox Injection is administered under the skin by a doctor or nurse. It should not be injected into a muscle. The dose and duration of the treatment are based on your medical condition, your response to the medicine, and what you are being treated for. Common side effects of this medicine include injection site pain, bleeding, headache, increased blood platelets, breathing problems, edema, anemia, fever, diarrhea, and increased liver enzymes. A severe headache could be a sign of bleeding in the brain. A severe stomach ache could be a sign of bleeding in the stomach. Bleeding can be dangerous and may not be obvious. Look out for symptoms and tell your doctor if you are worried.

Before receiving this medicine, let your doctor know if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, or have had a recent stroke. You should not take it if you have any current bleeding. Some medicines should not be used with Bio Enox Injection. Let your doctor know about all the medicines you are taking to make sure it is safe. If you have low body weight, you may be at increased risk of bleeding, and drinking alcohol can increase the risk of stomach bleeding.

Benefits of Bio Enox Injection

Treatment of Deep vein thrombosis
Bio Enox Injection is used for the treatment of acute deep vein thrombosis. It helps prevent further clot formation, limits clot extension, and reduces the risk of recurrence through effective anticoagulation.
Pulmonary embolism
In pulmonary embolism (PE), Bio Enox Injection helps stabilise existing clots and prevents new clots from forming in the pulmonary circulation. It is indicated for the treatment of PE not requiring thrombolytic therapy or surgery and supports both initial and extended treatment to reduce recurrence risk.
Acute coronary syndrome
Bio Enox Injection is used in acute coronary syndromes, including unstable angina, non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI), and ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). When used with antiplatelet therapy, it helps prevent further thrombus formation in coronary arteries and reduces the risk of myocardial infarction and death during plaque rupture.

Frequently asked questions

Bio Enox Injection is used to prevent and treat blood clots in conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). It is also used in certain acute heart conditions, including unstable angina and heart attacks, to reduce the risk of serious clot-related complications.
Bio Enox Injection is given as an injection under the skin (subcutaneous injection), usually in the abdomen. In some heart attack cases, an initial dose may be given into a vein, followed by injections under the skin.
The duration of treatment depends on the condition being treated. For blood clots like DVT or PE, treatment usually lasts several days and may be followed by oral blood thinners. In heart conditions, it is generally used for a short period until the condition stabilises or hospital treatment is completed.
Bio Enox Injection should be used carefully in people with kidney problems, a history of bleeding disorders, low platelet counts, or those taking other blood-thinning medicines. Dose adjustments and close monitoring may be required in elderly patients or those with reduced kidney function.
