Interaction with drugs

Taking Barbitone with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Do not consume Ticagrelor with Phenobarbitone. Phenobarbitone may reduce blood levels of Ticagrelor.

Ranolazine (Oral Route)

Do not consume Ranolazine with Phenobarbitone. Phenobarbitone may reduce blood levels and efficacy of Ranolazine.

Irinotecan (Injection Route)

Do not consume Irinotecan with Phenobarbitone. If concurrent use is essential, please consult your doctor. Phenobarbitone may fasten the elimination of Irinotecan and its active form.

Sirolimus (Injection Route)

Do not consume Sirolimus with Phenobarbitone. If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Phenobarbitone may reduce blood levels of Sirolimus.
