I am 30 weeks pregnant. I have no abnormal reports whatsoever. Only recently I started itch on my body and it has gotten way out of control now. I cannot sleep and I am itching all over. My LFT test reports came out normal except Alkaline Phosphatase which is 294. My gynaecologist referred me to a dermatologist and she diagnosed me with scabies. I have been put on Alaspan 10 mg and Atarax 10 mg. Permite cream also has been asked to use along with Ivermactol. Nothing seems to help. I don't think its a skin issue.
Dr. Megha Tuli
You need to see a dermatologist dear. It seems more of a skin trouble than due to pregnancy. If it is scabies, it may take upto 2 weeks for the itching to subside. Continue the treatment
