Introduction of Asunra Tablet

Asunra 100 mg Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of chronic iron overload caused by frequent blood transfusion. It helps remove the excess iron from the body and reduce the risk of it causing organ damage.

Asunra 100 mg Tablet should be taken in empty stomach. Take it regularly at a fixed time each day to get the maximum benefit of the medicine.

Using of Asunra 100 mg Tablet may cause common side effects such as nausea, headache, constipation, diarrhea and increased liver enzyme. If the side effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor.

What if you miss a dose of Asunra Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Asunra 100 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Hello, Diabetes in thalassaemia is thought to be caused mainly by iron overload, from repeated blood transfusions, damaging the pancreas. Insulin secretion may be reduced, possibly because iron is directly toxic to the insulin producing pancreatic ?-cells. So it is type 1 DM .
