Product introduction

The dose will depend on what you are being treated for. Since the treatment for angina or heart failure is usually lifelong, you should not stop using it without talking to your doctor. It should be taken with food at the same time each day. If you take too much in one go, your heart could slow down too much and make you feel breathless or tired. If this happens, call a doctor.

The most common side effects are temporary brightness/flashes in your vision, slow heart rate, high blood pressure, atrial fibrillation, dizziness, blurred vision, and ECG changes. Some side effects, such as fainting and significant changes to your heartbeat, may be very serious and may need urgent medical attention. Avoid driving until you know how this medicine will affect you.

Do not use Angibrad 5mg Tablet if you have severe liver disease, a low resting heart rate, or a heart rhythm disorder. This medicine is also not suitable if you have very low blood pressure and heart failure that has recently become worse. This medicine interacts with certain other medicines used to treat high blood pressure, fungal infections, and HIV. Do not take it if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.

Benefits of Angibrad Tablet

Angina (heart-related chest pain)
Angibrad 5mg Tablet helps manage angina (heart-related chest pain) by slowing the heart rate, reducing its oxygen demand, and improving blood flow to the heart muscle. This leads to fewer episodes of chest pain, better exercise tolerance, and enhanced daily comfort. Easing the heart's workload, it helps prevent complications like heart attacks, promoting long-term cardiovascular health. With improved symptom control, Angibrad 5mg Tablet supports a more active and fulfilling lifestyle while reducing the stress of recurrent angina episodes.
Heart Failure
Angibrad 5mg Tablet helps manage heart failure by slowing the heart rate, allowing the heart to pump more efficiently with less strain. This improves blood circulation, reduces symptoms like fatigue, breathlessness, and swelling, and enhances exercise capacity. By easing the workload on the heart, it lowers the risk of hospitalization and heart-related complications. With better heart function and energy levels, Angibrad 5mg Tablet supports a more active lifestyle and improves the overall quality of life for individuals with heart failure.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Angibrad 5mg Tablet should be taken with or after food.

How Angibrad Tablet works

Angibrad 5mg Tablet works by slowing down the heart rate. It does this by blocking a specific "pacemaker" current in the heart, which helps the heart beat more slowly and efficiently. This reduces the heart's workload and improves blood flow, making it easier for the heart to pump oxygen-rich blood to the body. It is often used to treat conditions where the heart beats too fast, like certain types of heart failure or angina.

Quick tips

  • Angibrad 5mg Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
  • You may experience temporary changes in your vision, such as enhanced visual brightness/flashes. These changes may occur within the initial 2 months of treatment and should gradually go away.
  • Monitor your blood pressure when taking Angibrad 5mg Tablet as it can increase your blood pressure.
