Acethromb 2 mg Tablet is used to prevent blood clots. It helps prevent the formation of blood clots in legs, lungs, heart or any other parts of the body.

How to use Acethromb Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Acethromb 2 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Acethromb Tablet works

Acethromb 2 mg Tablet is an oral anticoagulant. It acts by preventing the formation of harmful blood clots. Although it does not dissolve the existing blood clots, it inhibits them from growing larger and causing serious problems.

Pregnancy
CAUTION
Acethromb 2 mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
Acethromb 2 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving

Acethromb 2 mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION

What if you miss a dose of Acethromb Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Acethromb 2 mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

It contains Tranexamic acid. Tranexamic acid is used as tablet in treatment of women with cyclical heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia). In the form of an injection, it is used to prevent excessive bleeding during cervical surgery, dental extractions in patients who have a hereditary blood clotting disturbances (hemophilia), surgery for removal of prostate, in hemorrhagic complications associated with therapy used to break down blood clots in the body or in disseminated intravascular coagulation (serious condition when the blood in the entire body begins to clot).
I am suffering from type 2 diabetes. Doctors prescribed me sugar about 6 months ago. I m taking ime9 tablet but my sugar levels keep fluctuating.also my leg pain doesn't go. It seems that I hv blood clots in legs. Do I have to take something to thin my blood also I dnt feel hungry at all being a sugar patient.
