Artiflo 2 Tablet should be taken as advised by the doctor. You may take it with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. This medicine should not be stopped abruptly without consulting the doctor. You should take this medicine regularly to get the most benefit, even if you feel fine. It prevents future harm.

The most common side effect of Artiflo 2 Tablet is bleeding. Let your doctor know immediately if you see a pinpoint rash or blood in your vomit, urine, or stool. If you are going under any surgery or dental treatment, you may need to stop this medicine for some time, but only after consulting with your doctor.

Before taking Artiflo 2 Tablet, you must inform the doctor if you are suffering from any kidney or liver disease or taking any medicine, including supplements and herbal products. Also, let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and about all the other medications that you are taking regularly.

How long do I need to take Artiflo 2 Tablet?

You should continue taking Artiflo 2 Tablet for as long as recommended by your doctor. Depending upon the condition you are being treated for, you may have to take it for several months or years or maybe for the rest of your life.

If you forget to take a dose of Artiflo 2 Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for your next dose then skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose and continue your normal schedule. Keep a diary or set a reminder, so that you do not forget it often.

What monitoring is required while taking Artiflo 2 Tablet?

The bleeding times should be carefully monitored from 2nd or 3rd dose of Artiflo 2 Tablet and till the clotting status is stabilized. Thereafter, the bleeding time can be monitored monthly. This frequency may be more in elderly.
