4 . Onion
Extract the juice of one onion and apply it on the scalp. Leave it in for 30 minutes and rinse off with shampoo. Using this every week cures infection of the scalp. The Sulphur content of onions improves blood circulation in the scalp and promotes hair-growth.
5 . Amla
Roughly chop 4-5 fruits and add to a cup of hot coconut oil. Fry for 3-5 minutes on low heat and strain the oil. Store the oil in a glass container and massage your hair 3-4 times every week with this mixture. Amla is rich in anti-oxidants and has several medicinal qualities that nourishes hair, reduces hair-fall and augments hair growth. A mixture of equal quantities of amla and lemon juice works just as well.
6 . Garlic
Add 7-8 crushed garlic cloves into 4-5 tablespoons of hot olive oil. Fry the garlic for 2-3 minutes and strain the oil. Massage your scalp with this mixture and leave it in for 1 hour before washing off with a mild shampoo. Selenium, Vitamin E and a compound Allicin present in garlic boosts circulation and improves hair-growth.
