Interaction with drugs

Taking Zyvec with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Amikacin (Injection Route)

Your muscles may remain relaxed or weak for a longer than usual time.

Carbamazepine (Oral Route)

Your doctor may monitor and adjust the dose of Vecuronium to promote faster recovery. Vecuronium may raise blood levels of the active form of Carbamazepine.

Clindamycin (Injection Route)

Your muscles may remain relaxed or weak for a longer than usual time. Your doctor may monitor your recovery phase. Clindamycin may increase the effect of Vecuronium.
