How to use Womiban Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Womiban 400 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Womiban Tablet works
Womiban 400 mg Tablet is an antiparasitic medication. It works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), thereby depleting their energy level. This causes the worms to die and treats your infection.

Driving
Womiban 400 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
Womiban 400 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Womiban 400 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION
Womiban 400 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Womiban 400 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Inform your doctor if you develop signs of jaundice like yellowing of eyes and skin, itching, and clay colored stools while taking this medicine.

Womiban works by killing the larva and the adult form of the worm by inhibiting tubulin polymerization which causes energy depletion and decreases the mobility of the worm and hence kills the helminth.
