Interaction with drugs

Taking Vlx with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Do not consume Venlafaxine with Domperidone.

Avoid concurrent use unless your doctor considers it safe.

Moclobemide (Oral Route)

P-glycoprotein is responsible for the expulsion of Vlx 25mg Tablet from the brain. Some studies have shown that Vlx 25mg Tablet and its metabolite inhibit the p-glycoprotein.

Vlx 25mg Tablet treatment is associated with sustained increases in blood pressure in some people. It is recommended that people who are being treated with Vlx 25mg Tablet should have regular monitoring of blood pressure. For such people, either dose reduction or discontinuation should be considered.
