How to use Terakare Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Terakare 2mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Terakare Tablet works

Terakare 2mg Tablet is an alpha-blocker. It lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels. It works by relaxing muscle around the bladder exit and prostate, which makes it easier to urinate.

Alcohol
CAUTION
Taking terazosin with alcohol can lower blood pressure. This may cause dizziness, especially when getting up from a sitting or lying position.
Pregnancy

Terakare 2mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
CAUTION
Terakare 2mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
Terakare 2mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
SAFE
Terakare 2mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Terakare 2mg Tablet is recommended.
Liver
CAUTION
Terakare 2mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Terakare 2mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Terakare 2mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

Please follow your doctor's advice before taking these medications with Terakare. As combining Cialis (tadalafil) with Terakare can lower your blood pressure and increase the risk of dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, flushing, headache, and nasal congestion
