Tafsure Tablet is used in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. It prevents the multiplication of viruses in human cells. This stops the virus from producing new viruses and clears up your infection.
Tafsure Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not skip any doses, and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. What if you forget to take Tafsure Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Tafsure Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

In case of HIV-1 infection, Tafsure Tablet may reduce the risk of passing the virus to others, but the chances of infecting others persist. However, in the case of HBV infection, Tafsure Tablet has not proven to reduce the risk of transmitting the virus to others. Therefore, patients with both HIV-1 infection and HBV infection should practice safe sex and should not share dirty needles.

Consult your doctor if you have vomiting every time you take Tafsure Tablet or if the vomiting persists for a longer duration.
What should I do if I forget to take Tafsure Tablet?
If you forget to take Tafsure Tablet within 12 hours of the time you usually take it, take Tafsure Tablet with food as soon as possible and resume the normal dosing schedule. However, if it has been more than 12 hours since you took the medicine and it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and simply resume the usual dosing schedule.
