Sleepdex 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor as it has a high potential of habit-forming.

The most common side effects of this medicine include drowsiness and uncoordinated body movements. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. If you have been taking this medicine for a long time, then regular monitoring of blood and liver functions may be required.

If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it and finish the full course of treatment, even if you feel better. This medication mustn't be stopped suddenly without talking to the doctor, as it may cause nausea and anxiety.

Sleepdex 10mg Tablet is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

Taking Sleepdex with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms of Chlordiazepoxide side effects such as drowsiness, excessive sedation, tiredness, dizziness or slurred speech and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the dose of Chlordiazepoxide as per the observations. It is advised to avoid driving or undertaking other tasks requiring skill and alertness.

Severe

Clozapine (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as dizziness, headaches, tremors, sleep disturbances or mood changes and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the doses as per the observations.
