Uses of Roxilac Tablet

Roxilac 150 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used in infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).

Roxilac 150 mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading.

Kidney
Roxilac 150 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Roxilac 150 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver

Roxilac is to be taken on an empty stomach at least 15 minutes before a meal. The Roxilac tablets should be taken with good amount of water.

Roxilac is used to treat throat infection caused by Streptococcus pyogenes. It is also indicated for other upper respiratory tract infections like tonsillitis and sinusitis. Roxilac is active against chlamydia species and is used for the treatment of infections caused by chlamydia. Please consult your doctor before taking any treatment if you have been diagnosed with chlamydial infection.
