Ronem 125mg injection is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria by attacking their cell wall. Specifically, it prevents the synthesis of a substance in the cell wall called peptidoglycan, which provides the cell wall with the strength required for survival of bacteria in human body.

Meropenem is given as an injection directly into a vein by a doctor or nurse using water for injections or a suitable infusion fluid. Do not start or continue the meropenem and consult your doctor:
- If you have kidney or liver problems.

- If you experience severe and persistent diarrhea after taking antibiotics.
