How to use Restovis Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Restovis 0.25 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Restovis Tablet works

Restovis 0.25 mg Tablet is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

Liver
Restovis 0.25 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Restovis 0.25 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

What if you miss a dose of Restovis Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Restovis 0.25 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Maintenance phase after first episode of anxiety disorder lasts for 6 months,medicines are then gradually tapered off. Other substitutes are available but if you are better with it, it's better to continue because other antidepressant may or may not work adequately.
