Rekcin 333mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections

How to use Rekcin Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take Rekcin 333mg Tablet empty stomach (1 hour before food or 2 hours after food).

How Rekcin Tablet works

Rekcin 333mg tablet is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

  • Always take the complete course of treatment, as advised by your doctor even if you feel better.
  • Never take an antibiotic for a viral infection like a cold or the flu.
  • Can lead to nausea and diarrhoea frequently. If this becomes severe or persistent or you notice that your stool contains blood or mucus you should stop taking Rekcin immediately and consult your doctor.
  • Inform your doctor if you develop a rash or other unexpected symptoms.
