How to use Ramipril Capsule

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ramipril 2.5 mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Ramipril 2.5 mg Capsule is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by reducing stress on the heart and relaxing blood vessel so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.

  • Ramipril 2.5 mg Capsule may cause the level of potassium in blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli.
  • Do not take it during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor if you become pregnant while taking Ramipril 2.5 mg Capsule.

I am taking anti diabetic medicine since last 8 years as below- Glimipride 2mg + Metformin 1g + Acarbose 25 = all these BD. and Vildagliptin 50mg + Atorvas 20mg + Ramipril 2.5 mg = all these once in a day.
