Continue using it as recommended by your doctor and complete the dose even if you feel better. If you stop, your symptoms may get worse.

Some common side effects of this medicine include paresthesia, hypocalcemia, headache, hypercalcemia, nausea, hypoesthesia, diarrhea, vomiting, arthralgia, hypercalciuria, and pain in extremity. Talk to your doctor if any of these side effects do not go away with time or get worse. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these symptoms.

To make sure the medicine is safe for you, before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult with their doctors before taking the medicine.

Quick tips

  • Osteoclear Injection may increase your calcium level, consult your doctor and get your calcium level monitored at regular intervals.
  • If you take antacids (medicines to relieve heartburn) or medicines containing calcium, you should take them at least 2 hours after taking Osteoclear Injection to avoid interference.
  • Inform your doctor immediately if you experience any allergic reactions (rash, swelling and difficulty breathing) after taking Osteoclear Injection.
  • Let your doctor know if you have or have had a blood clot, heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, or had surgery on the arteries of your legs.
  • Osteoclear Injection may increase your calcium level, consult your doctor and get your calcium level monitored at regular intervals.

Taking Osteoclear with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects
Moderate

Digoxin (Oral Route)

Watch out for symptoms of Digoxin side effects such as impaired vision, skin rash, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or dizziness and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may monitor your calcium levels and adjust the doses as per the observations. Digoxin may increase the rate of release of Recombinant Human parathyroid hormone in the blood.
