In pulmonary embolism, Niskinase 7.5IU Injection works by breaking down the clots in the lungs’ blood vessels. This helps improve breathing, reduces chest discomfort, and prevents further strain on the heart.

It increases your risk of bleeding. Be careful while shaving, cutting fingernails or toenails, using sharp objects or engaging in contact sports (e.g. football, wrestling).
Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor as this may increase your chances of having another heart attack or stroke.
Niskinase 7.5IU Injection helps break down blood clots in blood vessels, thereby treating conditions such as heart attack, pulmonary embolism, and stroke.
It should be given as soon as possible (within 12 hours) after the onset of a heart attack.
It is usually given by your nurse or doctor as an infusion (drip) into a vein.

Taking Niskinase with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Cilostazol (Oral Route)

Inform your doctor if you notice any signs of bleeding (bruising, bleeding gums, blood in stool/vomit/urine).

Apixaban (Oral Route)

Do not consume Apixaban with Streptokinase. If concurrent use is essential, watch out for bleeding and consult your doctor immediately. Streptokinase may increase the effect of Apixaban.

Urokinase (Injection Route)

Do not consume Streptokinase with Urokinase. If Streptokinase is essential, ensure a gap of At least 5 days between taking Streptokinase and Urokinase. Please consult your doctor. Urokinase may reduce the efficacy of Streptokinase.

Ticagrelor (Oral Route)

Talk to your doctor if you notice any unusual symptoms.
