How to use Nelora Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nelora 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Nelora 5mg tablet is an antihistaminic medication. It blocks the action of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation, congestion, itching, and other allergic reactions.

Expert advice for Nelora Tablet

  • Desloratadine may be taken with or without food
  • Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
  • Do not drive or operate machinery during desloratadine therapy as it may cause dizziness.
  • Do not give to patients allergic to desloratadine, loratadine or any of its ingredients.
  • Do not give to Children less than 2 years.

Special precautions for Nelora 5mg Tablet
Nelora 5mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Nelora 5mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.

Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Nelora 5mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.

Because of its low milk levels and lack of sleepiness, use of Nelora 5mg Tablet would not be expected to cause any adverse effects in breastfed babies.
Nelora 5mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Nelora 5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients wi
th kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nelora 5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Missed Dosageuses

If you miss a dose of Desloratadine, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
