Minirin Melt 0.1mg Tablet can be taken on an empty stomach or after food. Your doctor will decide the dose and how often you should take it. You should use it regularly to get the most benefit from the medicine. Do not stop using the medicine even if you feel better unless the doctor tells you so.

Headache is a commonly reported side effect of Minirin Melt 0.1mg Tablet. It may cause mild to moderate pain or discomfort in the head. Getting adequate rest, staying hydrated, maintaining regular sleep patterns, and avoiding prolonged screen time may help relieve the discomfort. If the headache becomes severe, persists, or occurs frequently, consult your doctor for appropriate management.

Before using this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any problems with your heart, liver, or kidneys. You should also tell your doctor all the other medicines you are taking. Your doctor may monitor your blood glucose regularly while on treatment with this medicine.

• Diabetes insipidus : Used to treat a condition in which the body does not produce enough antidiuretic hormone, causing excessive urination and persistent thirst.
• Bed-wetting : Used to treat primary nocturnal enuresis (bed-wetting) in children aged 5 years and older who have normal urine-concentrating ability.

For diabetes insipidus, it is generally taken three times daily, with the schedule adjusted according to urine output, thirst, fluid balance, and treatment response. For bed-wetting, it is usually taken once daily at bedtime. Treatment for bed-wetting is generally reviewed every three months, with a treatment-free period of at least one week to assess whether further treatment is necessary. Fluid intake must be carefully restricted around bedtime dosing for bed-wetting. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration for each condition.

• You have been prescribed Minirin Melt 0.1mg Tablet for the treatment of diabetes insipidus and/or bed-wetting.
• Limit the amount of fluids you drink with this medication.
• Minirin Melt 0.1mg Tablet can cause low sodium levels in your body. Get regular blood tests done to monitor the levels.
• Inform your doctor if you develop an infection, fever, diarrhea, or vomiting.
• Talk to your doctor if you have sudden weight gain or swelling in your arms and legs that does not go away.
