How to use Macrobid Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Macrobid Tablet at a fixed time.
Avoid Macrobid Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.

Macrobid tablet is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
