Uses of Litazith Suspension

Litazith 250mg Suspension is used in the treatment of bacterial infections of the eye, conjunctivitis, bacterial infections and typhoid fever. It is used in bacterial infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).

How to use Litazith Suspension

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Litazith 250mg Suspension may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Litazith 250mg Suspension is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

  • Litazith 250mg Suspension will cure your infection and improve symptoms.
  • It may cause an upset stomach. If this happens to you, take it with food.
  • Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.

  • Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop.
  • Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
  • Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.
  • Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
