It relieves the symptoms of migraine and prevents the attack from becoming worse.

Imijet Injection side effects


Neck pain, Dizziness, Sensation of heaviness, Sleepiness, Weakness, Nausea, Dryness in mouth, Jaw pain, Paresthesia (tingling or pricking sensation), Throat pain, Warm sensation.

How Imijet Injection works

Migraine headaches are thought to result from the dilatation of blood vessels in the head. Imijet 500mg Injection works by constricting (narrowing) these blood vessels, thereby relieving the migraine headaches.

  • To relieve migraine as soon as possible, take Imijet as soon as the headache begins. 
  • Lying down in a quiet and dark room for a while after you use Imijet may help to relieve the migraine. 
  • Take Imijet only as prescribed by the doctor. Using too much Imijet may increase the chances of side effects. 
  • Notify your doctor if your migraine headaches are occurring more often, than before you started using Imijet.
  • Notify your doctor if you have used Imijet for at least three consecutive months.
  • Avoid driving after taking as it may cause drowsiness and dizziness.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Imijet, it can cause new and worse headaches.

Imijet 500mg Injection is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.

It is also suggested that withholding breastfeeding for 8 hours after using Imijet 500mg Injection would be better.

fect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
